About Me

I am an accredited Professional Counsellor/Psychotherapist with over 15 years experience dealing with Mental Health issues, I work with clients from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds.

I offer a professional and confidential service to clients throughout Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. I also offer skype sessions for clients out of area where I feel it is appropriate.

My work over 15 years has been within charitable, public and private sectors,including the NHS and local authorities. I feel extremely passionate about my role and supporting clients to feel better.

I provide clinical supervision to practitioners and consultants in private practice including trainees. Supervision in also offered for groups and teams in different organisations.

My experience has produced effective results with clients within the following areas of therapy: Anxiety, Depression, Phobia’s, Low Self-Confidence/Esteem, Relationships, Bereavement, Physical/Sexual Abuse, Trauma, OCD, Domestic Violence, Addiction, Nutritional Advice, Supervision and Work-related Issues.

I aim to help clients to live a happier and healthier life, so that they can achieve their goals. I am fully qualified and insured, and work within the framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy as an accredited Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.

It’s quite normal to feel unfamiliar with abbreviations and letters sometimes used when seeking a Counsellor or therapist. In case you feel unfamiliar with the letters and abbreviations which are on the website: BACP means British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy: A governing body which provides counsellor’s with a Framework to work within the guidelines of. ”Accred means that a counsellor has achieved accreditation with the governing body( BACP) and has been deemed to meet higher standards as a competent, ethical and independent practitioner.
